What a beautiful view into history via a piece of pottery.

In my 30's and for part of my 40's I made my living selling my original ceramics. Sometimes I think about the pieces I made and wonder how many are still around.

Now in my 60's, I quit doing ceramics when I was in my mid-forties. I started selling vintage and antique ceramics and pottery on eBay. I've handled quite a few pieces of Keramos marked Made in Israel. I don't know much about it but I've always assumed that the Made in Israel mark meant the pieces were made to be imported to the U.S. The design on your jar and the pieces I've handled like it were probably done in the 1950s to the early 1970a, the tail end of mid-century design and quite popular now.

I love hearing about its new life with you.
