Valerie, your response actually helps me understand why I felt compelled to write about Ellen. I’ve been working on this for awhile. I tried to publish it through a publication here on Medium and it was rejected so I gave it an edit and then sat on it for a few more days.

The movie Fallen has always struck a chord with me- those moments in the film when evil passes from one soul to another feels familiar. The feeling is very hard to explain as it is so outside of ordinary experience.
