The best haircuts I ever got were from my do gal in Texas. She is gorgeous, stylish, empathetic and super sized. I've gone back to my old home state a couple of times in the last ten years to get a good cut. It is so depressing not to get the cut you imagine yourself having.

If I took her a picture she would tell me if it was a possibility with the hair I have and if not she would find a picture (of a celebrity usually) who had a cut that was close to what I asked for but would work with my real hair (fine and thin).

The salon you went to sounds like they employ a bunch of really untalented, useless stylists. And they want to blame this on you? It's not your problem that they are terrible human beings.
