Thanks Ramona. Religion is a touchy subject, you are right about that. It makes it easier to be able to talk about it with like minded people. When I do I always gain something. Usually what I gain is the perspective of where someone else started with religion and why they broke away.
Until I got to be an adult (more or less) I felt really alone with my atheism. When I was small, until I learned not to, I made the mistake of voicing questions out loud. Eventually, I just stuck with reading. Sometimes that backfired too- I had librarians question the books I wanted to check out, a few even refused to let me have the books I chose.
