I do hope you find out who did this, mostly because they need to be shown the damage they have done. Maybe if you can shine a light on their stupidity and heartlessness they might consider their own discomfort the next time they raise their gun (air or otherwise) the next time.

But you know, do people like this ever feel any empathy? That is so disturbing, that someone can take a pot shot at an animal and not consider the animal's suffering. This is the hard part of living in this world, what people do to others. Including our beloved pets.

Those of us who can't even imagine the darkness inside of someone who can laugh at the suffering of another or who can't connect the dots between a person and their love for an animal...gives me shivers and anxiety,
