Thanks for the doing research and providing the interesting statistics. I was so fearful before my surgery. My grandmother had cataract surgery in the 1950s. I don't know if it's true or not but she told me they took out her eyeballs and laid them on her cheeks. Yikes! (That's not how my Doc did mine!)
