"A life unexamined is not worth living."

When my daughter was little, whenever anyone told her she was pretty she would say, "Thank you. I know." I encouraged her to continue saying the thank you and to say I know inside of her head.

Thank you is as important as I'm sorry but they are two different things. Tiny little words with huge impact.
