Medium sometimes lets readers give me compliments, such as that I am a brilliant writer. Surely that is higher pay than mere cash.

Despite my brilliance I’ve never gotten that 500.00 bonus you are all lying about.

So far, mostly I just pay Medium.

Side note: I have a completed novel in a big folder in my top dresser drawer. I’m pretty sure it is brilliant as well.

Furthermore, I expect people to spend some time with my writing. I go long and you all go home.

Do I sound as bitter as I feel? I sure hope so.
