Nothing pulls at my heart like a young widow. Because I was widowed young(ish). I had many years with him though and had I not had that I can't imagine how much harder the loss would have been.

What I learned is I had to reclaim my individual soul. Part of me drifted away with my late husband and recapturing myself was hard work.
