Last week I went to see my endocrinologist. I walked in masked and sat down to an empty waiting room. Within a few minutes there were five people waiting with me. None were masked.
No signs asking patients to mask. No masks on office workers. No mask on my providerd who is a nurse practitioner with a newborn baby at home.
I live in Florida.
Before I left the appointment one of the people waiting got on his phone and talked about "some lady in here wearing a mask, ha-ha-ha."
You don't go to the endocrinologist unless you've got something wrong or you're trying to find out what is wrong with you.
I can't explain any of this. All I can do is wear my mask, stay home and hope for a better day.
