Jacqueline, I have a similar story with a friend of mine from high school. There have been misunderstands outside of my control and I'm sure she feels, someway, that I'm responsible. It feels terrible not to be able to explain. She's ghosted me so there is no opportunity. Your Clara, with her amazing sense of humor reminds me of my friend. I miss her. Ugh....
