It takes me at least a week because my back hurts so I decorate slowly, maybe ten ornaments at a time. Eventually, it's all done.

I have a huge investment in ornaments and I'm still adding to it at 65. I can't let go. My husband undecorates, puts the ornaments onto a tray so I can pack them for storage. He puts the tree in the stand and takes it out to the yard when all the ornaments are off. When he can't do it anymore, I'll probably hire someone.

It is done for the joy of it. Gorgeous! Twinkling and every year it looks better than the year before.

I do think it's fine to do what makes YOU happy.
