I write fiction here on Medium and usually work from prompts. I need (yes, need) a creative outlet and writing allows me to stretch. Think of how it feels to give a good stretch when you wake up in the morning. Writing feels that way to me.

I love creating characters, love creating a world they live in. I take something that might have happened to me or someone I know in real life and explain its / their importance by means of telling the story.

I’ve been a visual artist most of my adult life. Writing gives me more options than creating artwork. Infinite palette. No limitations.
