If she wants her friend to have a new coat why wouldn't she take her shopping and buy her something new INSTEAD of guilting a stranger? If she's broke, she could take her to Goodwill OR get her size and shop Goodwill until she found something. Yes, resellers do search for plus sized clothes to sell for profit but Goodwill puts out stuff all day long so if you work at it a little bit you can always find something.
