I think it doesn't matter to a bully why you've said NO. Hearing it drives them at least a little bit crazy, it certainly spins them on their axis (of evil!)

My childhood included a bully. He lived across the street for five years. Almost all of my memories of those five years include his presence, whether he was there or not.
