I believe it is an extinction burst. MeToo has the men who support bad behavior clinging to the side of the cliff. And the ones who get caught are falling to their deaths and bringing the cliff hangers down with them as they go. Like lemmings. I’m looking at a lot of things these days in the same way.

Trump is an extinction burst too.

When I saw the film of James Field, plowing into the protesting crowd in Charlottesville, killing Heather Heyer, it felt so much like the beginning of some sort of very visible unravelling. Is anyone but the seriously UNHINGED going to look at that as some sort of heroic act?

I still have to believe that the average American will not continue to silently put up with misogyny, Nazi’s/White Supremacists and pussy grabbers and so many fringe type people standing on the side of hate.

Social media is still a strange concept for me. I really don’t participate in it but I’m not unaware that it gives cowards a place to spout their fact-less confusion about how life really works.

I don’t know what to say about the trolling Shannon. It must suck. I’m pretty sure it’s not going to keep you from writing your truth. The trolls aren’t going to cause you to change what you believe. Write more, louder, go harder, stand up!
