I am an unhappy Floridian.

People need to wake up about DeSantis. He is smarter than Trump and doesn't have the personality disorders that keep people aware that Trump is out of his mind.

The only thing scarier than a fascist is one with a high IQ.

I don't think he believes his own dogma. He's smarter than that. But gaining voters who are disgusted or bored with Trump and follow DeSantis' narrow rhetoric might just give the him the extra votes he needs. He's counting on this.

Discrediting Trump is the party's only way back to the numbers they need to win the next presidential election. The party is divided. And Trump is getting less and less attention.

DeSantis is writing legislation that puts fuel in the waning fire.

One thing we shouldn't overlook about these folks is that they think the way to a better America is to go back to the way things used to be. They lack the foresight to see things any other way. The Villages is a perfect example. The corner malt shop, Happy Days! Everyone is the same! Straight, white, conservative.

More of these enclaves are being built. People used to come here to escape the cold. Now they are flocking here to find people who think with the same sort of narrow minds.

Woke doesn't mean enlightened. It's just a sign that "those people" are trying to change what they are comfortable with.

Change is bad. Right?

My husband is retiring in 1-1/2 years. Then we are out of here.

I don't want to be stranded here when the gangrenous dong finally falls off.
