Hi Bebe-

While you are doing what you know is best it is still HARD.

I think in most families, there is the one person best equipped for the caregiving role as it exists. In my case, the years leading up to my mother needing to move in with one of her children were taken care of by me.

Thankfully, (because my circumstances changed and I couldn't continue to be THE ONE) one of my brothers and his wife stepped in and my Mom moved in with them. I am still thankful to them because...well she was my Mom and I needed her to be well cared for. They did a marvelous, patient job of it and always kept her best interests at heart.

I mean no disrespect to your sister but strawberry shortcake can't hold a candle to listening to the moaning.

And at the same time your mother deserves the bright moment of strawberry shortcake.

Nobody said it wasn't complicated.
