Except for two years in Catholic school (where I certainly didn't hear about the British monarchy's distaste for Catholicism) I got 99% of my history from American Public Schools.

Which means I don't know much about history. And why is that? In public high schools, football coaches used to have to teach a subject in order to coach. I'm from the south, which makes football very important. Great coaches usually meant terrible teachers. And what did they teach? History.

My first husband kept the TV tuned to The History Channel and for a while I watched, trying to learn something. The History Channel should be renamed the Military History Channel. I learned a lot about military aircraft.

If you're really going to write more about the history of the monarchy, I'm in.

Three minute reads, spiced up with a bit of sex (good or bad) and tidbits about preferred delicious meats, what is not to love?

You've even included a picture! Yay!
