dIn the 70's my late husband worked at Audubon Zoo in New Orleans. There was an old enclosure for seals and sea lions that was out in Audubon Park, not protected by the fencing around the zoo. People were always throwing things into the enclosure. Twice while he worked there, sea lions were injured by bricks. Folks dug them out of the walkway around the enclosure so they would have something good and hefty to throw.

Yeah, nothing surprises me when it comes to humans.
